Kintail is located approximately ten minutes drive from the centre of Orange, in the Central west of NSW. Kintail was established as a part time business in 2004 but is now a full time venture for Steve and Bardi Mannix. Kintail focuses on breaking in and training of young horses. The facilities offered on the property enable horses to be broken-in and educated in an ideal environment. They are taught the basics in safe, controlled areas but there is also plenty of space to take young horses out for their first canter in an open field or pop over a small jump. Kintail encourages clients to observe and/or participate in the education of their horse in order to help develop and improve their skills in handling and riding their young horse. It is important that our clients are confident to continue their horses education before it goes home. Kintail also offers services such as yearling preparation, pre training, re training, pre sales preparation, general behavioural issues and floating and confidence problems - honest advice and assesments given of horse/rider combinations.
